Table data for the Yo-Yo Endurance Test Level 1

The Yo-Yo Endurance Fitness Test is a test of aerobic fitness. Participants run out and back on a 20 meter course, with the required speed increasing at set intervals until they are unable to continue. In this version of the yo-yo test, there is no recovery period, unlike the commonly used Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1.

There are two versions of the Yo-Yo Endurance Test, level 1 and level 2. The table below shows information about the Level 1 test, which starts at 8 km/hr (level 2 starts at 11.5 km/hr). This test is very similar to the popular 'beep' endurance test. Both the YYET1 and the beep test start at 8km/hr, though in the yo-yo test the second speed level is 8.5 while the standard beep test skips up to 9, and therefore each subsequent level is 0.5 km/hr slower at the same time into the test. There are also slight differences in the number of shuttles at each level.

You can see a similar table for the Yo-Yo Endurance Test Level 2.
